Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Sorin Vasiliu (“Statlark”, “we”, “us”) for use of the Statlark service and website. By creating an account or using Statlark, you agree to them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you’re authorised to do so.

The service

Statlark is revenue-aware web analytics: a tracking script, an ingestion pipeline, and a dashboard that attributes revenue to the sources that earned it. Statlark is in early access and is currently provided free of charge. Features may change as we develop the product.

Your account

You’re responsible for your account and everything done under it. Keep access to your sign-in email secure; we authenticate with one-time codes sent to it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will:

• Only collect data from sites you own or are authorised to operate, and provide your visitors any notice or consent your jurisdiction requires.
• Not use Statlark to collect special categories of personal data, or to track anyone, without a lawful basis.
• Not misuse the service — no reverse engineering, no attempts to breach security or other customers’ isolation, no overloading the infrastructure, and no reselling the service without our permission.

Your data

You own the data you collect through Statlark. You grant us the rights needed to host and process it to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy (and a DPA, available on request). For the analytics we collect on your visitors, you are the controller and we are your processor. We may use aggregated, de-identified statistics to improve Statlark.

Third-party services

Statlarkworks alongside services you connect, such as Stripe. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and you’re responsible for your accounts with them.

Availability and changes

During early access the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without a service-level commitment. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we’ll aim to give reasonable notice of material changes.

Fees

Statlarkis free during early access. Paid plans, priced by the volume of events you track, may be introduced later — we’ll give notice before any charges apply, and you can stop using the service at any time.

Termination

You can stop using Statlark and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached or the service is misused. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Statlarkis provided without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that attribution is complete for every payment.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Statlark is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We’ll change the “last updated” date above and give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
